Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State will on Wednesday know if he will still remain the governor of akwa ibom or not.
This is because the Supreme Court will give its verdict on the governorship election appeal between him (Udom) and his opponent at the poll, Umana Umana.
Udom contested in the election under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, while Umana flew the flag of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Already, both camps are gearing up for the D-day, while residents of the South-South state are in anxiety ahead of tomorrow’s ‘judgement day’.
Those on the side of the governor expressed optimism to come out of the court happy, while those with Umana believe the ruling will favour them.
