Producers Of “93 Days” Movie Clear The Air On Controversy

Just some few days ago, we reported that there is controversy surrounding the production of the Ebola movie “93 Days” as the family of Dr. Adadevoh distanced itself from the project…

Claiming that its consent was not sought out by the producers. Now the producers have released their own press statement clearing the air on the issue.

According to the statement, they have the interview of the son of the late doctor, Bankole Adadevoh on film who gave them permission as well as insight into his mother’s action during the period.

Not only that, the statement is also accusing Dr. Anna Adadevoh who is claiming to represent the Adadevoh and Cardosso family. They said it is simply because of her involvement with another movie on the same Ebola issue.

The statement also points out that the upcoming movie “93 Days” is not a biopic of the late Dr. Adadevoh but individuals who contributed to the struggle of controlling Ebola in Nigeria.

Nollywood actress Bimbo Akintola is playing the character of Dr. Adadevoh in the movie and has once said in an interview that it is the most challenging movie role of her career.
